New Pepsi logo based on magnetism of the earth
Pepsi recently spent several million dollars on a new logo. Leaked internal memos from the design agency show a 27 page document with figures that relate the new logo to the magnetic field of the Earth and the Earth's geodynamo. This is yet another way that geology is cool and sexy. It's nice to see someone else get inspired by the Earth. But, unfortunately, I'm still gonna be a Coke drinker.

It amazes me all the things you find about earth and geology (or as someone in our small group put it once, rocks) that are so relevant and cool. Just saw this article about the new Pepsi logo in a design mag I subscribe to today: http://www.mcwade.com/DesignTalk/ Thought you might be interested..
